A broom project starts with the product and market you intend to serve. Equipment selection should follow a clear sample specification and production plan.
1. Define the product and commercial plan
Identify the broom shape, block material, filament, handle and packaging. Compare market samples and define a target quality level. Estimate material, labour, tooling, packing and transport costs using quotations for your actual project.
2. Plan the site and workflow
Map incoming material, preparation, drilling or tufting, trimming, inspection and packing. Confirm equipment footprint, service access, utilities and staffing with suppliers. Check applicable site and operating requirements with qualified local advisers; a single factory-size figure does not suit every project.
3. Select machines around the approved sample
Choose the positioning axes, heads, fixtures and supporting processes required by the broom geometry. Review whether blocks arrive pre-drilled and whether trimming or flagging is needed. Establish an output target with its time basis and validate it using representative materials.
Compare the brush and broom machine range, then send the sample, material and output target for a proposed configuration.
