Specify the product
Define finished size and weight, yarn or fabric construction, colour, edge or band details and the connection to the handle or frame. State the floor surface and cleaning process so the supplier can review suitability.
Evaluate samples consistently
Compare samples using the same surface, cleaning solution and method. Record pickup, release, handling and any appearance changes after the agreed care cycle. Avoid fixed reuse-count claims unless they have been tested for the actual product.
Follow product-specific care instructions
Ask for washing, drying and chemical-compatibility instructions for the supplied mop. Follow those instructions and inspect for wear, attachment damage or changes in performance before reuse.
Plan sourcing or manufacture
