2 axis brush machine

2-axis brush making machines are intended for comparatively flat brush paths where the workpiece can be positioned with two controlled axes. The current Merit Factory range includes models for flat broom blocks and dye brushes. Some listed machines are tufting-only and require pre-drilled plastic or wooden blocks, so confirm the incoming block condition before selecting equipment.Compare the B60, B61 and DB50 product pages by finished brush shape, tufting method, number of clamps, filament length, stated working speed and electrical requirements. A holes-per-second figure is only meaningful when the hole count, tuft length, loading time and shift length are defined. Send a finished brush, dimensioned block drawing, hole pattern, filament and target daily output for fixture and tooling review. Also state the available voltage, compressed air and operator plan. If your brush has curved surfaces, side holes or a cylindrical body, compare the 3-axis or higher-axis ranges before ordering. A factory trial should use representative blocks and filament and should document the accepted sample, cycle basis and changeover steps.
