5-Axis Brush Machines

5-axis brush making machines provide the positioning needed for disc brushes, shaped brooms and other products with holes on several surfaces or approach angles. The Merit Factory range includes MTD40 and MTD70 disc brush models plus MTB70 broom configurations with different drilling heads, tufting heads and clamping stations. Each arrangement is intended for a different balance of process steps and output.Start with the finished brush: send its diameter or block dimensions, hole coordinates, working faces, filament, tuft length and a sample or drawing. State whether drilling and tufting must run in one line, the required colour or wire arrangement and the daily output with its time basis. Compare the number of heads and stations together with fixture loading, because head count alone does not define real production. Confirm local voltage, compressed air, dust collection, safety guarding, supplied clamps and changeover procedure. A factory acceptance trial should use representative blocks and filament and retain an approved sample.
